Term 3 Week 8 'Star of the Week'

This week's Star of the Week is Macy.

Ka wani ke, Macy, it's great to have you in Room 13.

Yesterday 11 Room 13 children went to the Cultural Festival. They enjoyed the show, with the favourite item being the Hip Hop dancers. While these children were away the rest of us made native birds. Come in to our room to see them 'flying' from the roof (they did not photograph well, so you'll have to view them 'live').

Next week we continue our NZ Animals and their Habitats study. We will be needing a shoe box each as well as some other items to create the habitat. A note was sent home today - check the reading folder. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please come in and ask. At this stage the plan is to start painting early next week, so please bring the shoe box on Tuesday.
