This week's Star of the Week is Ciara.
Ka wani ke, Ciara, it's great to have you in Room 13.
We've had a busy week focusing on our topic. As well as painting our shoeboxes we have been working on posters about our animals. We had three questions to answer:
1. How does an animal's habitat help it survive?
2. How does an animal's body protect it from predators?
3. How does an animal get its food?
We worked in groups to gather the information then process it and write our answers. We have now created our posters and they are displayed on our classroom wall. Come in and see them.
You can also check out photos - click on the relevant animal under 'Children's Work' on the right hand side of this blog. Your child will be able to tell you which poster they worked on.
